We work with the industry-leading bank integration partner, Plaid, to securely link your bank with Donut. Plaid currently connects Donut to over 9600 national and local banks across the United States. If you are unable to find your bank or credit union listed when adding a bank account via Plaid, that means we, unfortunately, don't support automatic setup for it yet. We're constantly adding more banks so it should hopefully be available soon.

You can still use this Bank Account with Donut. To use this Bank Account with Donut, connect it manually in your App.

To Connect Manually, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Select Payment Methods

  3. Select Add Account

  4. Select Add Bank Account

  5. Select Connect Manually

  6. Choose the type of Account you’re connecting

  7. Enter you Account Number

  8. Enter your 9-digit Routing Number

  9. Confirm your account

Once you submit this info to our secure portal, our banking partner will send two micro-deposits (they will typically be a random amount less than $1.00) to your account in order to verify the connection.

When two deposits from "Donut-Credit" appear on your bank statement (1-3 business days), pop into the app, and enter each deposit amount to confirm and complete your verification.
